Apple seed bread | Vegan

Hello my lovelies and welcome back to the last of this months bread baking.

We are finishing with a lovely loaf packed with raisins, apples and seeds. It's quick and easy to make and most of all tasty.



What you need for the apple and seed bread


5 dl (2 cups) spelt wheat flour

2 dl (0.8 cups) oatmeal

1 dl (0.4 cups) flax seeds

1 dl (0.4 cups) raisins

1 dl (0.4 cups) hazelnuts

4 dl (1.6 cups) yogurt

2 tsp baking soda

3 tbsp agave

1 apple

A pinch of sea salt


What you need for topping and decoration:


2 tbsp mixed seeds for topping

10 herb leaves for decoration


Begin with preheating the oven to 175°C (347°F)


In a bowl add all the dry ingredients except the seeds to be sprinkled on the bread.

In a small bowl mix together the yogurt and agave.



Rinse, peel and grate the apple.


Add the grated apple and the yoghurt mix into the dry ingredients and mix for about

10 minutes in a kitchen machine.


Prepare a baking sheet in a loaf tin and pour in the batter.


Sprinkle on the seeds and add herbs.


Pop the bread into the bottom part of the oven and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
