Dalgona Coffee | Matcha | Cocoa | Vegan - Gluten free | YouTube

Uppdaterat: 9 mars 2021

Happy Weekend my lovelies! I hope you don't mind me uploading a bonus video but here I am making content on a Saturday because I just can't help myself! I have had this craving for a cup of coffee that has been popping up everywhere in my life and this viral coffee is Dalgona, might have butchered that name in my video, I do apologise. This coffee has an origin from Korea and I have never seen anything like it before it looks wonderful and I will have you know it turned out wonderful too. I decided to do three different takes on this beverage and they all turned out as I hoped. So hopefully one of these will work for your palette too. Let's make a coffee, matcha tea and cocoa flavoured dalgona. Check out my video below.

Dalgona Coffee: 2 tbsp instant coffee 2 tbsp hot water 2 tbsp sugar 1 dl (1/2 cup) vegan milk

In a bowl add the instant coffee, sugar and hot water. I will be using a electric whisk for this and at a low speed I mix until the sugar and coffee has dissolved and once dissolved we can mix it at high speed until we are able to create stiff peaks. Now in a cup of your choice add the milk it should fill up about 2/3 of the cup so we can scoop in the foamy dalgona to top of the milk. Tip: if you add ice into the milk before scooping on the dalgona it keeps the foam from bleeding into the milk as fast and it can be a fresh cold coffee drink during those hot summer days. Dalogna Matcha tea: 4 tbsp matcha tea 2 tbsp hot water 4 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp aquafaba

In a bowl add the matcha tea, sugar and hot water. Using a electric whisk, whisk at low speed until the sugar and matcha has dissolved and once dissolved we can add the aquafaba and mix it at high speed until we are able to create stiff peaks. In a cup add the milk it should fill up about 2/3 of the cup so we can scoop in the foamy matcha dalgona to top of the milk finish off with a dusting of matcha tea. Cocoa dalogna: 4 tbsp cocoa powder 2 tbsp hot water 4 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp aquafaba

In a bowl add the cocoa powder, sugar and hot water. Using a electric whisk, whisk at low speed until the sugar and cocoa has dissolved and once dissolved we can add the aquafaba and mix it at high speed until we are able to create stiff peaks. In a cup add the milk it should fill up about 2/3 of the cup so we can scoop in the foamy cocoa dalgona to top of the milk finish off with a dusting of cocoa.

Hopefully you will give these drinks a try!
