Egg liqueur Shake | Vegan | Gluten-free | Easter

Hello my lovelies & happy holidays! So what are we up to this month, prepare to be mind-blown but we are making Easter recipes and to start of this month we are going to make an Easter shake drink with our very own home made vegan egg liqueur.



What you need to make vegan egg liqueur:


1 dl vodka or rum

1 dl vegan heavy cream

2 1/2 dl ( 1 cup ) vegan milk

3 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp maizena

1 tbsp vanilla sugar

A pinch of kala namak (black salt)

A pinch of turmeric (for the yellow colour)

Let's begin with making our vegan egg liqueur, in a pot add vegan milk, vegan heavy cream, sugar, vanilla sugar and bring it to a boil on medium high heat.



Add maizena while stiring and keep stiring until it thickens and then take it off the heat.

Stir in vodka/rum, kala namak and turmeric and it's done!


We will now move onto making our fancy drink.


What you need for the shake:


100g vegan white chocolate (for rim of glass and in drink)

1 dl (0.4 cups) vegan egg liqueur

2 dl (0.8 cups) vegan milk

4 dl (1.6 cups) vegan vanilla ice cream


What you need for decorating:


1 1/2 dl (0.6 cups) vegan whipped cream

Sprinkles for decoration for the rim of the glass


Should make 4 drinks.


In a mixer add vegan egg liqueur, vegan milk, vegan vanilla ice cream and give it a blend until it looks smooth.



Pop the chocolate into a microwave and melt it. Dip the rim of the glasses into the chocolate and into the sprinkles to decorate. Place in the fridge to set.


Next pour the remaining chocolate into the shake and blend until smooth and then pour the shake into the glasses and top off with some vegan whipped cream and some additional sprinkles.
