Everyday life | Birthday | Blog
Hello my lovelies and welcome to my Friday blog! Let's share, let's connect, let's gooo!
Something that has become more of a tradition the past few years it is to celebrate my birthday in my home. Due to Covid there have been many celebrations pushed aside and rightfully so but this time the restrictions had been lifted due to most of us having taken our third shot.
I decided to put together a party and of course plenty of food to go around. I invited my family and my dearest closest friends and since both Ana and my brother have younger children it would be a great opportunity for them to meet and hang out.
It was such a pleasant time, we ate, we chatted and I got to open gifts! That's always a win.
I received so many thoughtful gifts and opening them with the help of Leia and Alva is of course a hoot in it's own right. One gift was set up by Ana with the help of my SO and we sat down in front of the telly and I wasn't sure what to expect...
I was so caught of guard when on the screen Lisa Vanderpump popped up and started speaking directly to me. You might not know this about me but I used to have a guilty pleasure of watching Vanderpump rules and Ana had stored this information and decided to get me a cameo of Lisa Vanderpump. I have to admit I shed a tear, it was just so thoughtful of a gift.
To top all of this off Ana had booked us for painting ceramics as well. We got to pick an item to paint and we sat and had a lovely chat about everyday life while painting. Once we were done they took our items and they would get back to Ana once they are ready to pick up. It was so much fun, it really brought me back to simpler times where you just lived in the moment and let everything else go.
Honestly how lucky am I to have all these wonderful people in my life. They are my life!
I love them all so dearly. Thank you all for being there for me and making my day better each and every day.
