Everyday life | New year | Blog

Hello my lovelies and welcome to my Friday blog! Let's share, let's connect, let's gooo!

Chronological order who is she? Haha I am aware that it's been a while since New Year came and passed. When it comes to my blogs I want to share things while I am in the mood or better yet when the writer in me is inspired to do so.

Either way New Year of 2021 was celebrated in a small group mostly due to not being able to plan ahead of time with the pandemic interfering in our lives and wanting to keep our loved ones safe. This New Year we spent it with Ana and her lovely father that had come to visit her and to help her out with her new home.

The first time I meet him was a few years back when Ana and I organised a vacation together to her home country Romania. I had never been before and I was genuinely looking forward to this despite of a few mishaps that happened before vacation took place. That is a story for another day.

While in Romania we visited quite a few of Ana's family and it was lovely, they were all very generous and despite the language barrier we still manage to have a great time.

When we visited her father he cooked us a wonderful dinner and we sat and talked during the evening. It honestly felt like he was as much of a father to me as he was my dearest friend and his close bond to Ana shone through so immensely while he visited. Ana have been going through a lot recently and having people around her that cares about her well-being is honestly

so great to see.

So of course having them over for New Year seemed more than right. We had dinner together and of course dessert. We chatted, laughed and played video games. Of course during midnight we headed out to watch the fireworks despite there being a heavy fog cloaking the night.

Oh and bonus I fell stepping into a hole it gave everyone a good laugh, sometimes my curse is a blessing. Hehehe.

Being with family and loved ones and being able expand your family even though not related by blood surely is a gift we all can be gifted. I am so grateful for each and everyone of you.
