Purple people eater | Vegan-gluten free | Halloween

Uppdaterat: 9 mars 2021

Hello my lovelies and welcome to two weeks of Halloween! Today we are making our fourth Halloween item and this week we are making a drink and to keep with the theme we are making it purple. Don't you think of magic and witches when you think of purple? Well I do! We are making a Purple people eater drink today, let's get to it! Welcome to part 5.

Serves 2 people.

What you need for drink:

3 tbsp Bols Blue

6 tbsp blackcurrant juice

What you need to rim glass:

1/2 dl sugar

1/2 tsp blue food colouring

1/2 tsp purple food colouring

3-4 tbsp blackcurrant juice

Additional decorations:

2 tsp edible glitter

Ice if you prefer

Begin with colouring the sugar, add the sugar and food colouring onto a plate and gently massage the colour into the sugar with your fingers. Onto another plate add the blackcurrant that you need for rimming the glass. Dip the glass into the blackcurrant and then dip it into the sugar. I find dipping a couple of times in the sugar gives a better coating.

Next add Bols Blue into your glass and top of with the black currant. Give it a swirl and if you want to add a few more things which I did add some ice, I used some reusable ice cubes that fit the theme of purple and blue. Then I added some edible silver glitter for an extra witch's brew type of feel.

Now it's ready to serve!
