Saffron sour | Gluten-free | Vegan | Christmas
Hello my lovelies! To finish our Christmas recipes I wanted to make a drink and if there's one drink I do enjoy it's a whiskey sour and f0r this recipe I wanted to combine that drink with Christmas flavours and saffron has to be one of the most Christmas flavours there is.

What you need for syrup:
1 dl (0.4 cup) sugar
1 dl (0.4 cup) water
1 package of saffron
What you need for one drink:
6 cl bourbon-whiskey
4 cl juice of a lemon
3 cl saffron syrup
What you need for foam:
1 dl (0.4 cup) aquafaba
1 tsp saffron syrup
In a pot add the ingredients for the syrup, bring it up to a boil while stirring and take it off the heat. Allow to cool completely.
In a bowl add the ingredients for the foam and whisk until it becomes foamy.
Add all the ingredients for the drink in a shaker and give it a good shake. Serve it in a glass with a couple of ice cubes and top off with the foam.
You can of course add some Angostura bitter.
