Hello my lovelies! I bet you've heard the stories of Midsummer and how during our grand feast there would be laughter, singing, dancing around the Midsummer pole and while we celebrate there will be snaps held up high in the air and a loud cheer of skål can be heard through the summer night and I would say you aren't incorrect. We are a very traditional people at heart and the joy these traditions truly are a joy not only to part take in but to behold. With this I wanted to share some snaps recipes and wish you all a happy Midsummer!

Strawberry & rhubarb snaps:
4 dl (1.6 cups) vodka
One small rhubarb stem
10 strawberries
1 tbsp sugar
Begin with rinsing, peeling and slicing the rhubarb and strawberry in smaller pieces.
In a container add the rhubarb and strawberries and pour in the vodka.
Allow to sit in the fridge for 2-3 hours and once it's ready pour it through a coffee filter into a bottle and add a couple of thinly sliced rhubarb stems.
Apple and lemon snaps:
4 dl (1.6 cups) vodka
1 lemon
1 apple
2 twigs of rosemary
First rinse the apple and lemon. Then peel the lemon and slice wedges of the apple.
Into a carafe add the apple wedges, lemon peel, rosemary twigs and poor in the vodka.
Allow to sit in the fridge for 2 hours before serving.
